How to create faceless YouTube Shorts without editing
By the Mubuz team · Published
A faceless Short has four parts: a story, pictures, a voice and captions. Editing is the job of putting them together on a timeline. If a tool makes all four parts and joins them, there is nothing left to edit. Here is what that looks like, and where you still need to look.
The four parts of a faceless Short
- Story: a hook in the first line, one event, an ending that makes people want the next one.
- Pictures: scenes that show the story, with the same main character every time.
- Voice: a narrator, so you never record yourself.
- Captions: word by word, because many people watch with the sound off.
The no-editing workflow
- Write the idea in one line, for example "a lighthouse keeper who finds a new message in a bottle every night".
- Let AI write the episodes and read them. Change any line you do not like. This is the only part that needs you, and it takes minutes, not hours.
- Approve one main character so every episode looks like the same story.
- The tool draws the scenes, adds the narrator voice (Mubuz has five voices), puts captions on word by word and lays music under the voice.
- Download the vertical video or let it post to YouTube Shorts on a schedule.
What you still check
- The first line. If it does not make you curious, rewrite it before anything is made.
- Names and facts. AI can get a date or a spelling wrong; history and science episodes need a quick check.
- The ending. Every episode should end on a reason to watch the next one.
- The audience setting. If your Shorts are made for children, they must be set as made for kids on YouTube.
Free tools for each part
If you want to try the parts one by one first, our free tools cover the writing side: the hook generator for first lines, the script generator, the title generator and the caption and hashtag generator.
Questions
Do I need video editing software for faceless Shorts?
Not if one tool makes the story, pictures, voice and captions and joins them. Mubuz does all four and outputs a finished vertical video.
Do I need to disclose AI on faceless Shorts?
YouTube asks for disclosure when AI content looks realistic. Animation and fantasy do not need it, and using AI for scripts or captions does not either. Mubuz turns the setting on for every upload it posts.
